Though she has on occasion fought for other colors, Athane is known as a champion for the Red Faction. Regardless of whose colors she wears, she takes no prisoners. As brutal as she is beautiful, Athane can reduce even the bravest and strongest warriors to mush with a few quick strokes of her long, curved blade. Dressed in partial plate, Athane also often wields a war hammer and is quite skilled in the use of polearms. Possibly the deadliest warrior of the Red Faction, Athane’s cold-blooded ferocity has won her the respect -- and fear – of friend and foe alike. Cross blades with her if you dare!

Athane is played by Tracy Poag. When she isn't swinging steel, Tracy is a science fiction/fantasy writer, an amateur musician and songwriter, an artist, and an ardent cat-lover. She shares her house with a menagerie that includes multiple felines and the world's largest T-shirt collection. Tracy is also the proud possessor of a truly vicious fudge recipe.
