Don Parris
as Jade the ElfView profile & photos

Don-017

When Jade the Elf isn't dazzling his opponents with his brilliant twin-weapon swordplay, he's baffling them with his unceasing motion. Nimble of foot and equally agile of tongue, Jade is never one to sit still, especially when there's a good fight going on. Having lived among the humans for most of his career, he has come to understand the need for money and sells his talents as a swordsman to the more influential lords and ladies. Once employed, his loyalty is fierce and unwavering. His methods may be chaotic and gregarious, and the maniacal grin on his face as he faces an enemy is only a natural extension of his love of the "dance." There are those who despise him for his race, calling him unclean or demonspawn. To this prejudice he usually responds first with pity, then with lethal force. Racism, in his mind, is not to be tolerated.

Jade is played by Don Parris. He is the third generation in a family with a long acquaintance to the theatre. Along with being a certified actor/combatant, he is also a skilled stuntman and character actor. His profession is personal computer repair, though his love is twofold, his wife and the theatre (yes, in that order). He sings bass with A Little Knight Music.
